Association of Victims and Witnesses of Genocide: Sad, Hypocritical but Real Behaviour of SNSD and HDZ

(Patria) - The Association of Victims and Witnesses of Genocide issued a statement today regarding the scandalous yesterday's conclusion of SNSD, which was also supported by HDZ, concerning the request to withdraw the law that prohibits the denial of genocide.

"While in the democratic and civilized world, laws that fundamentally protect victims are adopted unanimously and as a rule without debate, in BiH there is a demand to repeal the law that prohibits insulting victims.

The parties from the RS entity, supported by HDZ BiH, are seeking the repeal of the law on prohibiting the denial of genocide, the Holocaust and other war crimes, without any proposal that would regulate the prohibition of glorifying war crimes, denying genocide and the Holocaust, while at the same time the presidents of SNSD and HDZ BiH visit execution sites from World War II. Sad, hypocritical but real," the statement said.
