Association 'Ruku na srce': Participate in a winter magic where no child should be left without a gift

(Patria) - For thirteen years now, November and December have been the time when dedicated volunteers of the Association "Ruku na srce" begin preparations for the biggest humanitarian winter magic called "No child without a gift", all with the aim of providing as many New Year's gifts as possible to children from families with lower material status throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Over the past 12 years, since 2010, almost 15,000 New Year's gifts have been distributed to preschool and school-aged children from the Sarajevo Canton and the entire Bosnia and Herzegovina within the project "No child without a gift".

Of course, collecting donations, as well as packing and distributing New Year's gifts would not be possible without a large number of our volunteers, as well as our wonderful fellow citizens, donors, and socially responsible companies that make a significant contribution each year to ensure that as many gifts as possible are delivered to the right hands of our children.

Precisely because of this, to ensure this story is as successful as before, the Association "Ruku na srce" invites students, schoolchildren, fellow citizens, and representatives of companies, associations, and sports clubs to support us and help us achieve our goal, that no child is left without a gift.

Anyone who wishes to be a part of this winter magic can donate toys (not necessarily new, but well-preserved), sweets, school supplies, or money. They can also make a gift themselves and brighten the New Year's start for children whose parents cannot provide these small joys.

This year, donations can be delivered to several points in Sarajevo. The donation collection point at Hub Homework is open every day from 8 AM to 7 PM, and from Monday to Friday, donations can be brought to the Trade Union Hall (Obala Kulina bana 1) from 8 AM to 4 PM, to the premises of the company Toner.ba (Aleja Bosne Srebrene 14) from 8:30 AM to 4 PM, to the premises of the Association STELEX (University of Sarajevo Campus) from 8:30 AM to 6 PM, and to the premises of SSST Sarajevo School of Science and Technology (Hrasnička cesta 3a) from 10 AM to 6 PM.

Donations are also collected at the "Ruku na srce" Center (Esada Pašalića 8) on Sundays from 10 AM to 12 PM.

If you are unable to deliver your contribution in person, you can also make monetary donations to the Association's bank account (1990490056036171, Sparkasse Bank) with the note: For the action "No child without a gift". The deadline for collecting all contributions is December 10, 2023.

Additionally, a humanitarian number for BH Telecom users (090 291 071) is active, through which it is possible to donate 2.00 KM.

The Association "Ruku na srce" also invites all interested individuals to join the team of volunteers packing gifts and thus become Santa's helpers.
