Employers' Association of FBiH: In 2017, we continue to fight for a better position for domestic companies

The Employers' Association of the Federation of BiH will continue to insist on the adoption of reform amendments to the Law on Contributions of FBiH and the Law on Income Tax of FBiH, which will truly be reform-oriented and lead to the relief of the economy, said today the President of the Employers' Association of FBiH Adnan Smailbegović, during the Association's annual press conference.

From the Association, they reminded that during 2016 they actively participated in the reform of labor legislation, signed a sectoral collective agreement with representatives of the Union for the area of FBiH, signed a sectoral collective agreement for the transport sector, communal economy, forestry, wood processing and paper, as well as for the area of metal production and processing. All agreements were signed for a period of one year. Final negotiations for signing a sectoral collective agreement for the trade sector are underway, they said from the Association.

- Thanks to the efforts of the Employers' Association of FBiH, the Government postponed the adoption of amendments to the Law on Contributions and the Law on Income Tax – they reminded from the Association. They added that in 2016, the Association also participated in the drafting and adoption of the new Law on Pension and Disability Insurance, some suggestions of the Association were accepted regarding the Law on Labor of FBiH. The Employers' Association of FBiH actively participates in the adoption of amendments to the Law on Strike of FBiH.

- The Employers' Association of FBiH will continue to insist on the adoption of reform amendments to the Law on Contributions of FBiH and the Law on Income Tax of FBiH, which will be reform-oriented in the legal sense and lead to the relief of the economy, increase the competitiveness of domestic companies, open jobs and reduce the gray economy – they stated from the Association, Patria reports.
