Association Pomozi.ba opens first public bathhouse for people in need in Sarajevo

(Patria) - In the center of the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at Mula Mustafe Bašeskije 9, a public bathhouse has been opened for people in social need, primarily users of the Restaurant of Good
Will of the Association Pomozi.ba.

In the initial, test phase, the bathhouse will operate three days a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The service is free and includes, in addition to showering, washing and drying laundry, and all users will also have at their disposal a wardrobe which they can also take if their clothes are worn out and they need new ones.



All users will be provided with shampoos and shower gels, as well as towels.

The facility is equipped according to the latest standards and has four female and three male shower cabins, two toilets, four washing and drying machines, mirrors, hair dryers. To avoid potential crowds and excessive waiting, prior booking is required. Users will receive time slots and within the given time frame will be able to use this service, which we hope will greatly ease their lives.

Because most users of the Restaurant of Good Will in Sarajevo live in extremely poor conditions and often lack basic necessities. In this way, they will be able to use washing and drying machines completely free of charge, as most of them do not own these appliances, and they will also save on electricity and water bills.

In the implementation of this project, the Association Pomozi.ba was helped by friends from the Municipality of Stari Grad, which provided the space, as well as companies dm drogerie markt BiH, Glovo, Telemach and Planet.
