Association of Generals of BiH: Full support for Denis Bećirović

(Patria) - The Association of Generals of BiH reacted to the base statements of Nenad Nešić, Minister of Security of BiH, and the RTRS report, which in the most brutal way insult the member of the Presidency of BiH and members of the honorable Army of RBiH.

"For a couple of days now, we have been following the statements of the Minister of Security in the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the regime media from the smaller BiH entity, related to the meeting between the member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Bećirović, and retired general Atif Dudaković. If that character (Nešić) were a moral person or a person with dignity whose opinion is authoritative, we would have responded immediately. As it is, we were in a dilemma, because it is difficult to exchange real facts and rational indicators with that obscure character.

However, given that he, as well as the aforementioned so-called media, have crossed all boundaries of decency, we must respond, for the sake of the public in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the truth and legal facts established by relevant judicial institutions.

The first and fundamental one is that General Dudaković commanded the units of the only legitimate military formation in the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, while Nešić's idol 'whom Vulin's female students are proud of' was convicted of war crimes and genocide against innocent civilians, and now, after years of hiding, the 'big general' is serving a life sentence in one of the European prisons.

General Dudaković honorably and bravely accepted the indictment from the Prosecutor's Office and Court of BiH, and is fighting it with truth and legal means with his head held high, proud that he fought heroically with the 5th Corps of the Army of RBiH against the aggression on his homeland.

Furthermore, Bećirović is an undoubted patriot who does not want and will not yield to the destructive onslaughts of the haters of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and as such, he bothers them. Admittedly, Nešić and his bosses are bothered by everyone who loves this country and is not afraid to say so publicly. They are particularly bothered that Bećirović emphasizes on every occasion that we will defend the state with all our might and never again allow massacres and rapes of the innocent to happen, as they did in the nineties.

We, as generals, originating from the honorable Army of RBiH, the Army of FBiH, and the Armed Forces of BiH, provide full support to the member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Bećirović, in all activities aimed at defending the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and independence of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and we stand behind him with full capacity.

Finally, we remind Nešić that in law there is a presumption of innocence and that he is by no means the one who will interpret either the indictment or the evidence. Because, just as his boss falsifies recordings the other day in Prijedor, he interprets parts of recordings that are alleged evidence in the proceedings against General Dudaković. We tell everyone that we, like all sincere Bosnians and Herzegovinians, are closely monitoring all developments and games surrounding our homeland with the message that we will never allow the collapse of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, its autonomy, independence, and international subjectivity, either by its internal or external enemies," stated the Association of Generals of BiH.
