Association of Generals of BiH Responds to Ćudić: We Will Not Allow You to Humiliate Us and Sell Our Shed Blood for a Handful of Power

(Patria) - The Association of Generals of BiH condemned the scandalous statement by the president of Our Party and MP in the BiH Parliament, Sabina Ćudić, who called the siege of Sarajevo and the aggression against BiH a "power struggle".

The Association of Generals points out that they always refrain from commenting on the actions of politicians, especially during election campaigns. However, they state, this time they do not want to remain silent about Sabina Ćudić's catastrophic address under any circumstances.

"We are deeply hurt and shocked by her address in the Sarajevo City Hall in front of European officials, in which she attempts to reduce the siege of Sarajevo and the aggression against Bosnia and Herzegovina to a 'power struggle'.

Her statement is a gross humiliation of the victims of aggression, the martyrs and fallen soldiers of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and all citizens who survived the darkest days in the history of our country," the Association of Generals stated.

They emphasize that it is evident that Ćudić does not distinguish between the aggressor and the defender, the victim and the criminal, historical facts and political constructs. They also note that she has mixed up "apples and oranges", even though she publicly claims to prepare thoroughly for every appearance.

"If she calls the aggression against the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina a 'power struggle', then let her clearly state: does she thereby accept the narrative that a 'civil war' and 'religious conflict' were waged in Bosnia and Herzegovina? Let her answer the public without political evasion.

Ms. Ćudić, Bosnia and Herzegovina was subjected to brutal aggression. Genocide was committed against the Bosniak people in Srebrenica.

Terror was carried out against the citizens of Sarajevo during the 1,425-day siege. A joint criminal enterprise was conducted from the west. These are not political interpretations, but historical and court-established facts," the Association stressed.

They reproach Ćudić for causing enormous damage to the truth about the defense-liberation war with her thoughtless and dangerous statements, and for giving arguments to those who have been trying to equate the aggressor and the defenders for years.

"If she does not believe the fighters of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the patriots of this country, let her ask her own father, who was the assistant commander of the First Corps of the Army of RBiH.

We demand a public apology from all patriots of Bosnia and Herzegovina, all victims of aggression and their families, to whom Sabina Ćudić has caused additional pain and humiliation with her statements about the siege of Sarajevo and the war.

We call on all members of Our Party who were members of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina and units of the First Corps to publicly state their position on the views expressed by their president.

We ask Sabina Ćudić: who killed 1,601 children of Sarajevo, 11,547 civilians, and 6,505 defenders of the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina?

And finally, Belgium and Italy are investigating the 'Safari snipers' for her for nothing, because with her claim in public discourse that the aggression was reduced to a 'power struggle', she has blatantly humiliated the victims of aggression, amnestied those responsible for sniping and killing children and civilians, but she has also devastated the dignity and achievements of the liberation war '92-'95.

Politicians, we will not allow you to humiliate us and sell our shed blood for a handful of power," the Association of Generals of BiH stated.
