Association of Generals of BiH: We do not approve the use of the name of any of our comrades for daily political purposes!

(Patria) - The Association of Generals of BiH issued a statement in which they draw politicians' attention not to mention members of the Army and MUP of RBiH for political purposes.

"Today, like all citizens, we are witnessing media noise in which individual members of the Army and MUP of RBiH are mentioned for political purposes. We, as generals and commanders of the glorious units of our Army, which, let us remind those who have forgotten, defended the integrity of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina and stopped the bloody aggression against it, cannot help but raise our voice and demand that all our politicians stop undermining the dignity and moral purity of our struggle.

We do not approve the use of the name of any of our comrades for daily political purposes. Our elected politicians and officials must continue to fight for the sovereignty, prosperity, and strengthening of the state, the development and strengthening of its economic situation, and enabling our citizens to live better…

In short, our priority should be us citizens and the state, and less yourselves.

In times when a new world order is being shaped, when a new global division is being created, when world peace is more fragile than ever before, we are dealing with ourselves and working to create disunity in all layers of society of our small country.

We will not and do not want to elaborate, we are just telling all our politicians, absolutely all of them, leave us defenders alone because we have had enough of "playing" with us and our honorable struggle. And all evidence of crime, betrayal by any individual, should be submitted to the competent judicial institutions of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and let them make decisions about any guilt.

Do not forget that we, the honorable members of the Army and MUP of RBiH, preserved and defended the state and institutions of our only homeland, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Continue our path, because we have no other homeland!", stated the UG BiH in their statement, signed by the president of the association, retired general Rizvo Pleh.
