Victim associations call on Schmidt to dismiss Minister Nešić for anti-Dayton activities

(Patria) - The Association of Victims and Witnesses of Genocide and the Association "Movement of Mothers of the Srebrenica and Žepa Enclaves" reacted to the statement by the Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nenad Nešić, that March 1 is a reason for war in BiH, not Independence Day.

"It is obvious that 'our' Minister of Security follows Ćosić's narrative, the ideologue of Serbian lies and the cause of Serbian genocides and ethnic cleansings at the end of the 20th century, defined the lie, so he said: 'We lie to deceive ourselves, to comfort another, we lie out of compassion, we lie out of shame, to encourage, to hide our misery, we lie for the sake of honesty. We lie for freedom, a lie is a form of Serbian patriotism and a confirmation of our innate intelligence. We lie creatively, imaginatively, inventively.'

So, Minister, final and binding international facts state that in 1991, a criminal undertaking was made in Belgrade by Slobodan Milošević and Serbian officials, in which Karadžić, Krajišnik and others participated, and a plan was made to attack the Republic of BiH. Thus, January 9, 1992, formalized the evil already prepared earlier in Belgrade in these areas.

In addition, Minister, numerous mass graves throughout the RS entity speak to this, as do camps, demolished mosques in Banja Luka and throughout the entity, and finally genocide. All of this, Minister, has been adjudicated by UN courts and other international courts. If you had any shame or decency, not towards the people against whom genocide was committed, but towards the people you belong to, you would be ashamed of what legacy you are leaving them and what consequences they will suffer because of your arrogance.

You are, in fact, a Minister of Insecurity, because you are not doing the job for which we pay you. Since you became minister, the security situation has never been worse.

Everywhere we have murders, attacks on returnees, and you, as minister, deal with things that are not within your competence. You work for others, not for the citizens of this country. There have been worse than you, but they did not succeed. Neither will you.

We call on the High Representative for BiH, due to the ongoing anti-Dayton activities, to dismiss the Minister of Insecurity, Nenad Nešić.

Long live Bosnia and Herzegovina, and let the Minister of Insecurity complain to Aleksandar Vučić, with whom he takes pictures during the elections in Serbia," these associations state.
