Victims' Associations: Responses to Any Provocations Are Part of the Political Strategy of the RS Authorities

The Association of Victims and Witnesses of Genocide and the Movement of Mothers of the Srebrenica and Žepa Enclaves appeal to the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina not to fall for provocations coming from the Republika Srpska and to remain dignified.

- For more than 20 years, we have been fighting for truth and justice, for our loved ones to be found and buried in peace, for future generations to learn the truth about the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and to contribute to peace. The Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina has unequivocally established that January 9 is unconstitutional and that the Republika Srpska must respect their decision, and the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina is obliged to take all measures to implement the decision of the Constitutional Court.

Responses to any provocations are part of the political strategy of the RS, with which they want to justify an unconstitutional referendum and disrupt peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina. As a people who have survived the ordeal of war and genocide, we are aware of the consequences, and for that reason, every step we take must be truthful and in support of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina - the appeal states.
