Victims' Associations: Over 7,000 Killed During the Aggression on Our Country Still Not Found

(Patria) - The Association of Victims and Witnesses of Genocide and the Association Movement "Mothers of the Srebrenica and Žepa Enclaves" issued a statement today on the occasion of August 30, the International Day of the Disappeared.

They reminded of the statement and call by UN Secretary-General António Guterres:

"Impunity increases suffering and anguish. Under international human rights law, families and societies have the right to know the truth about what happened. I call on member states to fulfill that responsibility."

The associations emphasize that Bosnia and Herzegovina still has not found over 7,000 people killed during the aggression on our country.

"On this occasion, we call on those responsible, and especially those individuals who know or have knowledge of possible mass or individual graves, to provide information to the authorities so that families can find peace and so that we can continue with the criminal prosecution of war criminals," they stated from these associations.
