Joint Media Undertaking: RTRS and TV Herceg Bosne Target Slaven Kovačević's Candidacy

(Patria) - The candidacy of Slaven Kovačević for the Democratic Front for a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina continues to attract attention from political circles, media in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and beyond.

However, what is particularly interesting is that last night, media controlled by Dragan Čović and Milorad Dodik, the television of so-called “Herceg Bosne” and Radio Television of the Republic of Srpska, presented segments in their central news programs attempting to discredit Kovačević's candidacy.

The television of so-called Herceg Bosne, in its segment, features a statement from an alleged information science expert, Robert Kolobara, who emphasizes that this political move exposes reality to the bone and leads us to the question: 'Is political coexistence with them (the Bosniak political establishment, nap, RTV HB) still possible, and is it worth extending a hand for the hundredth time to save Bosnia and Herzegovina?'

"Therefore, the renewal of a Croatian political, electoral, and territorial unit is no longer an expression of mere desire, but is becoming a vital necessity for the biological survival of the Croatian people. Because in these areas, after the elimination of political rights, biological elimination also occurs," said Kolobara.

Media and coalition partners of Dragan Čović and TV Herceg Bosne, in the form of Radio Television of the Republic of Srpska, informed the public about Sarajevo allegedly preparing a new deception for Croats.

“The already long-shaken political scene in BiH has been further shaken by the candidacy of Slaven Kovačević for the Croatian member of the BiH Presidency in the 2026 elections,” states the RTRS segment.

- False citizens, false patriots of BiH, false this or that have come to light - said the president of HNS, Dragan Čović, recently, RTRS reports.

Čović, RTRS points out, refers to Slaven Kovačević, advisor to Željko Komšić, whom the DF presented as a candidate for the Croatian member of the BiH Presidency. For the Croatian National Assembly, this is a continuation of the policy in which Bosniaks choose their representative, something they have been fighting against for years. Kovačević advocates for a civic BiH, Čović for legitimate representation, the RTRS segment highlights.
