Frequent landslides, traffic slowed due to damage on Žepče-Maglaj road

(Patria) - Traffic is suspended on the M-4 Lukavac-Gračanica main road in Donja Orahovica due to a traffic accident. Passenger vehicles are being rerouted via Petrovo.

In most of Bosnia and Herzegovina, traffic is on wet or damp roads, and BIHAMK warns of frequent landslides and advises cautious driving. In some sections in valleys, as well as over mountain passes, fog and low clouds reduce visibility in places.

Due to road damage on the M-17 main road, Žepče–Maglaj section (Ozimica location), at the junction with the future highway interchange, traffic is currently slowed. Due to high traffic volume on this section, occasional delays and longer waiting times are possible.

Due to road repair works on the M-17.5 Jablanica-Blidinje main road (Jablanica-Kosne Luke section), passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons total weight are driving slowly, with alternating traffic flow every day (except Sunday) between 07:00 and 17:30. Traffic for vehicles over 3.5 tons total weight remains suspended.

Works are also ongoing on the A-1 highway section Podlugovi-Sarajevo sjever, as well as on the main roads: Zenica-Doboj (Donja Vraca-Liješnica section), Tuzla-Orašje (Cerik), Jablanica-Prozor (Mirci settlement), Semizovac-Olovo, Gacko-Foča (Sastavci), Mostar-Čitluk (entrance to Čitluk), and Jajce-Crna Rijeka.

Traffic is suspended on the Zavidovići-Kamenica regional road due to necessary works and is being rerouted to alternative routes.

At border crossings, waiting times for passenger vehicles do not exceed 30 minutes.

The Brčko border crossing is open for passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons. Traffic for vehicles over 5 tons maximum permissible weight is prohibited at the Karakaj border crossing (near Zvornik). Trucks over 5 tons are being rerouted to the Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses can use the Šepak border crossing. Trucks can use the Šepak border crossing from 09:00 to 13:00 and from 22:00 to 06:00 (on weekends, they can cross between 22:00 and 06:00).
