Participants of the Peace March must strictly adhere to the code of conduct

The Subcommittee for the "Peace March 2015" asks and warns all accredited participants of the march that they must adhere to the code of conduct, for better organization and greater safety, reports the Patria news agency.

The Peace March is a hiking event, held as part of the commemoration of the anniversary of the genocide against Bosniaks in Srebrenica and its surroundings with the aim of paying tribute to the victims of the genocide and recalling the horrific crimes committed by the forces of the army and police of the Republika Srpska, supported by forces from Serbia, against Bosniaks from the "UN safe zone." 

The Peace March lasts 3 days, from July 8 to 10 each year, with the same number of stages. Each stage is between 25 and 30 km long. Participants follow the following route:

Nezuk - Baljkovica - Parlog - Crni Vrh - Snagovo - Liplje - Jošanica - Donja Kamenica - Bakrači - Glodi - Udrč - Cerska - Kaldrmica - Đugum - Mravinjci - Burnice - Kameničko Brdo - Ravni Buljim - Jaglići - Šušnjari - Budak - Potočari (Memorial Center).

The following notes apply to this year's Peace March:

- Only accredited persons may join the march

- Participants who join the march later must report to the group leader for accreditation

- It is mandatory to follow the team leader's instructions in all situations and on all matters

- Strictly stick to the planned, marked route

- Maintain visual contact with group members

- Seek medical assistance only from accredited medical teams

- Take breaks and possible rests as decided by the team leader

- Attendance at overnight stops is mandatory

- Carrying unrecognized flags is prohibited

- Carrying offensive inscriptions and shouting offensive slogans is prohibited

- At overnight stops, it is mandatory to be present at roll call

- In case of adverse weather conditions, turn off all radio devices and mobile phones

- Throwing waste outside designated areas is prohibited

- Respect danger signs for leftover unexploded explosive devices " BEWARE OF MINES ! "

- The use of alcoholic beverages of any kind is strictly prohibited

- Be aware of the possibility of fire when using lighters or consuming cigarettes

- Any movement at night is prohibited, except to designated points

- Report any incident to the team leader and follow their instructions

- Behave with dignity and discipline in every situation

- Participants wishing to leave the march must report to the group leader

- Non-compliance with this code of conduct may result in exclusion
