Students in Sarajevo Canton to rest first two days of Eid al-Adha, kindergartens on duty every day

On the occasion of the upcoming holiday "Eid al-Adha" which begins on Monday, September 12 and lasts four days, students in Sarajevo Canton will have two free days, Monday and Tuesday, confirmed for Patria from the Ministry of Education of Sarajevo Canton.

Also, kindergartens will not work the first two days of Eid al-Adha except for the duty kindergartens „Skenderija“, „Kekec“ and „Lastavica“, „Dječiji grad“ and „Srećica“.

Otherwise, the Directorate for Religious Affairs of the Riyasat announced that the central Eid ceremony on the occasion of Eid al-Adha will be held on September 12, 2016 in the Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque in Sarajevo. The Eid prayer will be led and the Eid sermon delivered by Reis-ul-Ulema Husein-ef. Kavazović.

The time of the Eid prayer is at 7:00 AM.
