UABNOR Mostar: The whole world will learn that the mayor of Mostar is a man who considers anti-fascism an ideology of evil

(Patria) - If any anonymous individual had written on their Facebook profile what Mario Kordić, the mayor of Mostar, wrote, it would be terrible and condemnable, but when the first man of a severely wounded city, a city with such an anti-fascist heritage as Mostar has and a deeply divided city, whose two halves live next to each other, despite all of Kordić's efforts to convince us that this is not the case, writes it, then it is much more than a personal opinion about an event, according to UABNOR Mostar.

"This is about the political stance of the group to which he belongs and which he consistently implements. Kordić writes: 'Let's build a Mostar focused on the future and stop glorifying criminal ideologies'.

If anti-fascism is a criminal ideology according to Kordić, then even a primary school student will conclude that fascism is a good ideology in his opinion. If Kordić offers us that future, it will not happen, and he offers it based on how he reacts to explicit manifestations and actions of neo-fascists in the city. He even defends them by relativizing their terrorist acts.

However, we will no longer deal with him. He is no longer the mayor for us, and for the insults expressed, both individual and collective, we will meet him in an appropriate place. Our Alliance of Anti-Fascists is a member of the European Association of Anti-Fascists and the World Veterans Federation, all thanks to what Tito's partisans, as part of the world anti-fascist coalition, did in World War II. Alliances from over a hundred countries around the world are gathered in these organizations. By using this network, the whole world will learn that the mayor of Mostar is a man who considers anti-fascism an ideology of evil.

In addition, through other channels available to us, we will inform the wider public, both at home and abroad, about these facts.

We will initiate all mechanisms for Kordić's removal from the position he holds, aware that it will not be easy, but at least we will expose that policy to the end.

Mostar does not deserve to be represented and led by Kordić. It is a disgrace to every citizen of this city.
