Contracts signed in Žepče for the construction of 20 housing units

Federal Minister for Displaced Persons and Refugees Adil Osmanović and Deputy Reis-ul-ulema Husein ef. Smajić visited the municipality of Žepče today, where four-party contracts were signed for the renovation and construction of individual housing units and facilities affected by floods and landslides for 20 beneficiaries, it was announced from the FBiH Government, reports Patria agency.

The signatories of the contracts are the Federal Ministry of Displaced Persons and Refugees, the Islamic Community in BiH, the Municipality of Žepče, and the beneficiaries of the aid.

A contract for the execution of construction works on a turnkey basis was signed with the contractor. This activity is part of the results of the signed Protocol on Cooperation between the Federal Ministry of Displaced Persons and Refugees and the Islamic Community in BiH, on the implementation of the joint project "Providing support for the remediation of damage caused by floods and landslides in BiH".

- Today, with the Mayor of the Municipality of Žepče, Mato Zovko, and the Deputy Reis-ul-ulema, Husein ef. Smajić, we signed a contract to provide for 20 housing units, completely new on a turnkey basis. Ten housing units are being built by the Federal Ministry of Displaced Persons and Refugees together with the Islamic Community in BiH, and the Municipality of Žepče has selected the beneficiaries - said Federal Minister Osmanović.

Osmanović emphasized that the Islamic Community of BiH will independently build another 10 housing units and stated that during his visit to the municipality of Žepče in July this year, he agreed with the mayor to proceed with the construction of housing facilities, expressing satisfaction that the contracts were signed today.

The contractor is the company "Prograd" from Žepče, the deadline for construction is 50 days, and the value of these ten housing units is 404,000 KM.
