Annual event '20 Best' in Zenica tomorrow - recognition for the best businessmen of ZDK

(Patria) - Organized by the Ministry of Economy and the Chamber of Commerce of ZDK, the traditional Annual event "20 Best" will be held tomorrow at the "Zenica" Hotel in Zenica, starting at 6:30 PM.

- The economy of the Zenica-Doboj Canton is the backbone of the economy of Bosnia and Herzegovina. We lacked such an event precisely to pay tribute to all those who contributed to it.

And it doesn't matter - whether they are small, medium, or large, all of them deserve credit for ZDK being considered the most potent industrial and investment region in this part of Europe today - stated the Minister of Economy of ZDK, Samir Šibonjić.

According to him, the largest post-war investment in ZDK has been realized - the Adriatic Metals mine in Vareš, and this canton is a leader in the production of chicken meat and the food industry, has strong oil companies, a metal industry, and its mining and energy potential is among the largest in the Western Balkans.

- We have two of the most significant economic fairs - Tešanj and the General BH Fair ZEPS, of which ZEPS is also the largest in the country. But, most importantly, our people are capable and entrepreneurial, able to create new value that makes them competitive in the market.

That is why this annual and, I hope, traditional economic event "20 Best!" is the culmination of all their efforts, and the Ministry I lead has simply recognized all these achievements, and because of that, as a minister, I am extremely happy and proud - said Šibonjić.



At the event, awards and plaques will be presented to the most successful companies that achieved outstanding business results in 2024. Awards will be given in the categories of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises, as well as to the five largest exporters from ZDK.

A special award "Bosnian Royal Dukat" will be presented to the most prominent companies as a symbol of the long-standing statehood of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the strength of the economy of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, whose successful history dates back to the time of the Bosnian kings who lived and ruled in these areas.

Within the event, a round table titled "Digitalization of the ZDK Economy - Preparation and Creation of Collective Digital Promotional Materials" will be organized, where promotional films for all industrial branches present in ZDK will be presented for the first time.

This initiative aims to improve the visibility of the domestic economy on digital platforms and the international market.

The Ministry of Economy of ZDK and the Chamber of Commerce of ZDK proudly present the companies that achieved the best business results in their categories in the past year, thus making a significant contribution to the development of the cantonal economy:
