Games Without Borders Held in Zenica for Children and Youth

International Youth Day has been celebrated since 1999 by UN decision, and the main goal is to gather as many young people as possible in one place and fill their day with laughter and fun. Today, Games Without Borders were held in Zenica, and young people tested their skills in several disciplines. The organizer is the Youth Association REaktiv.

- The main goal of this project is to gather young people in one place, and not on a social network. Part of the event is held at Alija Izetbegović Square, and another part at the Zenica swimming pools - said Đenar Terzić from the REaktiv Association.

Children and young people competed in several games, and at the end of the day, a screening of the film "Footnote", which deals with young people, will be held at the Zenica cinema.

- One of the goals is to show that young people are not inactive. A small portion of young people are inactive, while the majority like and want to volunteer and participate in various projects. Dozens of young people have invested their time to organize this, we found sponsors, prepared medals, found prizes, and filmed a movie - concluded Terzić.
