Sarajevo today got one of the most modern exits on Corridor Vc. The ceremonial ribbon was cut by the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dragan Čović. The opening was attended by the President of the Federation of BiH, Marinko Čavara, and the Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH, Fadil Novalić.

This is one of the most significant infrastructure projects in Sarajevo in the recent history of the city, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

Only one detail from today's ceremony bothered the officials. The previous hundred kilometers of the corridor passing through BiH were opened by workers, students, disabled persons, children... However, Čović took their place today.

Let us recall that the 1st of March tunnel and the Zenica jug - Lašva section on Corridor 5c were opened on August 25th last year by representatives of the Association of War Veterans with Disabilities and Paraplegics of Sarajevo Canton, Mušan Kamenica and Samir Fazlić.

The highway from Vogošća to Vlakovo, i.e., the Sarajevo bypass, was opened by the then Prime Minister of the FBiH, Nermin Nikšić, together with the children's choir from Sarajevo "Princes krofne", and the first to pass through this section were Sarajevo bikers.
The next section of Corridor Vc from Vlakovo to Tarčin was opened by the best students, scholarship holders of the Public Enterprise "Autoceste FBiH".

Unfortunately, there was no place for any of them today. Čović, Čavara, and Novalić assessed that opening the Sarajevo interchange could bring them certain political points with voters.

The modern interchange that will connect Sarajevo with Corridor Vc, worth more than 23 million KM, was put into operation today.
This is the most important exit from the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the highway that passes by Sarajevo and continues towards Herzegovina. The modern interchange was built by domestic companies Euro-asfalt and ŽGP, writes NAP.
