One of the most beautiful bridges in BiH opened in Visoko

As part of the program marking the Day of the Municipality of Visoko, a bridge connecting two large settlements in this municipality was opened.

The construction of the bridge has enabled easier and faster communication between urban and suburban areas. The construction site, type of structure, materials, technical and technological solutions, aesthetic design, details, and stability and resistance calculations were all done according to the most advanced professional and global standards.

The conceptual and main project was done by the company „Saraj inženjering“ from Sarajevo, and the contractor was the company „Hering“ from Široki Brijeg. Construction work on the bridge began on August 19 last year, and funds for the realization of such a grandiose development project, which will bring other new projects in the future, were provided from the Budget of the Municipality of Visoko.

The value of the project is one million KM, the bridge is 77 meters long, the width is variable and ranges from 4.30 to 7.40 meters, and it is also special for its lighting and magnificent appearance. The settlements of Luke and Ozrakovići have gained a new, modern, and more beautiful appearance thanks to the bridge.

- This is certainly one of the most beautiful projects we are implementing this year as part of the Capital Investments of the Municipality of Visoko. I think this is a development project, and time will show that all those who were opponents of this bridge will only be ashamed of their opportunism, and all those who were proponents, who advocated for it, actually did the right thing. This project brings with it other projects, projects for the construction of a large, modern underground garage in the area of this location, the arrangement of a promenade, the arrangement of both banks of the Bosna River, connecting villages and the city, connecting the narrower city core with the Ozrakovići business zone. The pedestrian bridge is certainly a development project whose benefits we will only feel in the coming period - said the mayor Amra Babić after one of the site visits during the bridge construction.
