"Srebrenica Path of Hell" Exhibition at City Hall Until July 25

The "Srebrenica Path of Hell" photography exhibition by Ahmet Bajrić Blicko was officially opened last night at the City Hall in Sarajevo. The exhibition represents the author's contribution to marking the 20th anniversary of the committed genocide, reports the Patria News Agency.

The exhibition was officially opened by the patron, the Mayor of Sarajevo, Ivo Komšić.

The "Srebrenica Path of Hell" exhibition by Ahmet Bajrić Blicko at the City Hall in Sarajevo will be available to visitors until July 25. Simultaneously, the "Srebrenica Path of Hell" photography exhibition will be displayed in Belgrade from July 1 to July 21, 2015.

Ahmet Bajrić Blicko is a Bosnian photojournalist who has been professionally engaged in photography for over thirty years. His photographs have been published in all major domestic newspapers, as well as in print and electronic editions in Europe and worldwide.

Among other things, he is known for being the only author who exclusively captured photographs of the survivors of Srebrenica emerging from the "death march" in July 1995 in the territory controlled by Bosnian forces near Sapna and Nezuk, which were published in many world newspapers, magazines, and books as a faithful illustration of the horrific scale of the Srebrenica Golgotha.

Bajrić has persistently and diligently continued to cover all the most important events related to Srebrenica over the past 20 years since the genocide and possesses an archive of thousands of photographs. The photo-monograph "Srebrenica Path of Hell 1995-2015" is in preparation and will be promoted after the commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the genocide in Srebrenica.
