Constituent Session of the Sarajevo City Council Held in the City Hall, Mayor and Two Deputies to Be Elected

(Patria) - The constituent session of the Sarajevo City Council has been scheduled for today at 10:00 AM in the City Hall.

City councilors to whom the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Bosnia and Herzegovina has awarded mandates will receive the CEC's mandate certificates and assume the office of city councilor by publicly giving and signing a solemn declaration.

The Chairperson of the City Council proposed the following agenda for the session:
1. Election of the Chairperson of the Sarajevo City Council;
2. Election of two Deputy Chairpersons of the Sarajevo City Council;
3. Election of members of the Commission for Elections and Appointments of the Sarajevo City Council;
4. Election of the Mayor of Sarajevo;
5. Election of two Deputy Mayors of Sarajevo;
6. Proposal for a Decision on the election of members of the working bodies of the Sarajevo City Council.

The constituent session of the City Council will be broadcast live on Television Sarajevo.

The candidate for mayor is Samir Avdić (NIP), while Mirela Džehverović (NS) and Predrag Puharić (SDP BiH) have been proposed as deputies.
