On April 25th, a work will be promoted at the City Hall that will reveal why there is so much resistance to the Genocide Resolution in RS and Serbia

(Patria) - The Institute for Research of Crimes Against Humanity and International Law of the University of Sarajevo follows with great attention and support the initiative for the adoption of the Resolution on the Genocide in Srebrenica at the United Nations.

"Through its scope of work, the Institute plays a key role in scientific research that contributes to the understanding and documentation of the truth about genocide, crimes against humanity, and international law.

In line with this mission, we are proud to announce that a work resulting from years of scientific research on the role of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia in the aggression against the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be published these days and promoted at the end of the month.

The book titled 'Decoding Aggression: The Supreme Defense Council of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and the War Against the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina', authored by Muamer Džananović, Hikmet Karčić, Emir Suljagić, and Sead Turčalo, represents the joint outcome of the work of three educational and scientific institutions: the Srebrenica Memorial Center, the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Sarajevo, and the Institute for Research of Crimes Against Humanity and International Law of the University of Sarajevo.

This publication is of exceptional importance as it provides a detailed insight into the Serbian state mechanisms and decisions that led to the aggression and crimes, offering a necessary perspective for understanding the dynamics of aggression against Bosnia and Herzegovina.

By examining the aforementioned publication, the general public will better understand why the authorities in the smaller Bosnian entity, Republika Srpska, and Serbia itself, show such resistance towards the mentioned Resolution on the Genocide in Srebrenica.

We call on the international community and the general public to provide support and attention to both this important Resolution and the upcoming publication, which, together with the Resolution, represents an important step in the fight against denial and revisionism," the Institute stated.

As we learn, the promotion of the mentioned work will be held on April 25th at the City Hall in Sarajevo.
