Bicycles and scooters rented without approval seized on Velika aleja

(Patria) - During the past weekend, cantonal market and tourism inspectors, in cooperation with the Communal Warden Service of KJKP "Rad" and with the assistance of police officers from the Ilidža Police Station and the Support Unit of the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton, during inspection supervision in the evening hours in the area of Velika aleja in Ilidža, found a number of individuals who, without a work permit and a permit for occupying public space, were renting out bicycles and electric scooters.

These individuals were renting out in the heart of the pedestrian zone, where accidents and injuries caused by reckless use of these means of transport occurred daily. On this occasion, 34 bicycles and 10 scooters were found, which, as objects of the offense, were temporarily seized and deposited in the Directorate for Commodity Reserves of Sarajevo Canton, pending the conclusion of court proceedings initiated against four persons.

The Cantonal Administration for Inspection Affairs of Sarajevo Canton takes this opportunity to especially thank the employees of KJKP "Rad" for their professional engagement and cooperation, as well as the police officers of the Ilidža Police Station and the Support Unit of the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton, who ensured the unimpeded operation of the inspectors.

At the same time, we warn that all abuses and irregularities that in any way endanger the safety of citizens, as well as any type of illegal work, will be most severely sanctioned.
