Increased traffic expected from the south towards the interior of BiH in the evening

(Patria) - Vehicle traffic towards local picnic areas and border crossings is increased, and in the evening hours, we expect an increased intensity of traffic, especially on routes leading from the south towards the interior of the country, announced BiHAMK.

Traffic is increased at the exits from our country at the border crossings Izačić, Velika Kladuša, Gradina, Bosanski Brod, Šepak, Bosanska Kostajnica, Bosanski Novi, and Bosanska Dubica, and there are long delays in both directions at the border crossings Bosanska Gradiška and Doljani.

At other border crossings, the frequency of vehicles is increased, but delays are not longer than 30 minutes for now.

BiHAMK reminds that waiting times at border crossings are subject to frequent changes. Drivers have access to video surveillance cameras on the website bihamk.ba.

At the Lepenica toll station on the A-1 highway, traffic is slow, without stoppages. On Monday, August 26, from 8 AM to Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at 8 AM, traffic will be completely suspended on the exit ramp of the A-1 highway from Konjic towards the Lepenica toll station.

Renovation works are underway on the main roads Kladanj-Vlasenica, Prozor-Gornji Vakuf/Uskoplje, Foča-Ustikolina, Dobro Polje-Miljevina, Bijeljina-Rača, and Olovo-Semizovac.

On the main road Rogatica-Ustiprača, due to bridge damage, vehicles up to 30 tons are using one lane, while traffic is suspended for vehicles over 30 tons.

Until the end of August, the Krstac border crossing (on the Gacko-Nikšić road) is open for passenger traffic.

Traffic is prohibited for vehicles over 5 tons of maximum allowed weight at the Karakaj border crossing (near Zvornik). Trucks over 5 tons are being redirected to the Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses can use the Šepak border crossing.
