Conference of Speakers of Parliaments of the Adriatic-Ionian Initiative Begins on Tuesday

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Speaker of the Parliament Ivan Brajović will open on Tuesday, March 19, the 16th Conference of Speakers of Parliaments of the member states of the Adriatic-Ionian Initiative (AII), within the framework of Montenegro's annual presidency of this Initiative. 

The conference will be attended by speakers or deputy speakers of parliaments of nine member states of the Initiative:  Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Albania, North Macedonia and Greece. 

From Montenegro, in addition to the host, Speaker of the Parliament Ivan Brajović and Prime Minister Duško Marković, MPs and ministers will participate.

The topics to be discussed are: tourism and culture as a common denominator, advantage and strategic commitment of states, and parliamentary bodies as a significant resource for strengthening cooperation in priority areas for the AII states.
