Warehouse for explosives and initiating devices put into use

The Federal Civil Protection Administration has put into use a warehouse for explosives and initiating devices in the area of Mostar, which will be used by its teams for the destruction of explosive ordnance engaged in this part of Bosnia and Herzegovina, reports the Patria News Agency.

This warehouse is located on a site provided by the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Federal Civil Protection Administration built it with its own funds, with the primary goal of increasing the safety of people and material goods in the implementation of protective measures against unexploded ordnance.

The warehouse for explosives and initiating devices has been arranged according to the highest standards in the field of fire and explosion protection, and is equipped with all necessary equipment to ensure safe handling and storage of the devices for which it is intended under all operating conditions.

By arranging this warehouse, the Federal Civil Protection Administration has raised its level of readiness to respond to even the most complex tasks within the framework of implementing protective measures against unexploded ordnance, which its teams carry out daily throughout the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
