IN THE STREET OF VICTIMS OF FASCISM: 32 years ago, the aggressor killed nine citizens of Sarajevo and wounded 38

(Patria) - Today marks 32 years since the massacre in the Otoka settlement, when nine people died and 38 were wounded.

On that November 10, 1993, from the aggressor's positions located in the Nedžarići area, three 82 mm mortar shells were fired, which fell on the asphalt surface in the Street of Victims of Fascism at number 12 and Ilije Engela Street at number 5.

Killed by the explosions and shrapnel of the shells were: Elma Geko, Slavojka Govedarica, Semir Haseta, Amina Hećo, Ajdin Hodžić, Ibrahim Huskić, Vinko Lončar, Silvijo Mačorović, and Božidar Šuko.

In this massacre, another 38 of our fellow citizens were wounded, some seriously and some lightly.

A delegation of the Sarajevo Canton, as well as delegations of other institutions and associations, will lay flowers at the site of their suffering, starting at 10:00 AM.

For the siege of Sarajevo, the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has not filed a single indictment, despite published footage, direct testimonies of participants in the aggression against Sarajevo and Bosnia and Herzegovina, nor for any killed child of Sarajevo.
