(Patria) - In today's traffic accident on the "9 January" highway, MP in the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska Srđan Todorović, his wife and minor child were killed.
The Banja Luka Police Administration stated that the accident occurred at 12:50 PM in the village of Puraći.
A passenger vehicle and a cargo vehicle were involved in the accident.
According to unofficial information, the tragedy occurred when a Volvo car hit the trailer of a truck that was stopped on the road due to a previous accident.
The truck had previously been involved in a traffic accident with another car.
Due to the accident, both vehicles were stopped on the highway when a Volvo approached at high speed and went under the truck's trailer.
Two injured persons were transported to the University Clinical Center of the Republika Srpska in Banja Luka.
After the police investigation was completed, traffic was normalized.
