Promotion of the book 'Patriotska liga u rađanju čuda bosanskog otpora' in Tuzla

(Patria) - The book "Patriotska liga u rađanju čuda bosanskog otpora" will be presented today at the Bosnian Cultural Center (BKC) in Tuzla, starting at 18:00.

The promoters of the book will be the president of the Association of Veterans of the Patriots League of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sulejman Vranj, professor Salih Kulenović, retired general Džemal Merdan, and historian Mesud Hero.

"The book 'Patriotska liga u rađanju čuda bosanskog otpora' is a collection of papers and a compilation of texts of various types - historiographic, memoir, analytical, and monographic in nature.

With its content and the facts, information, and testimonies it encompasses, it offers a significant contribution to the historicization of one of the most dramatic and critical periods in the long history of Bosnia and Herzegovina," writes in the afterword by Prof. Dr. Selmo Cikotić.



"The manuscript titled 'Patriotska liga u rađanju čuda bosanskog otpora' is written on 355 pages and consists of 32 individual works written or processed by 30 authors, mostly participants in those historical events or the organizers of the Patriots League of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Nevertheless, the manuscript represents a kind of testimony about times that were fateful for the survival of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the people who, at a time of complete uncertainty and control of the state and its security apparatus by one nation, risked their own lives and the lives of their families, certainly deserve the highest place in the memory and gratitude of the people for today's freedom and the preservation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina," writes Prof. Dr. Kenan Dautović.
