A commemoration on the occasion of the death of Muharem Osmić, a leading actor of the Tuzla National Theatre and a great of Bosnian theatre, was held today at the Bosnian Cultural Center in Tuzla, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.
Osmić was born in Lukavac on May 12, 1945. He graduated in acting from the Higher Theatre School at the Serbian National Theatre in Novi Sad in 1966, and since then he has performed in a large number of plays, and also acted in films and TV series.
He passed away on November 4 in Sarajevo, at the age of 71. Osmić was buried yesterday in the harem of the Džindijska mosque, writes NAP.
