Large graffiti removal campaign starts in Tuzla

TUZLA, (Patria) - The Ministry of Interior of Tuzla Canton, in cooperation with ICITAP (the International Criminal Investigative Training Assistance Program of the U.S. Department of Justice) and the city of Tuzla, is organizing the campaign „Graffiti Removal“ in Tuzla, on June 4 and 5, 2018, starting at 11:00 AM at Trg Slobode.

During the said campaign, promotional materials will be distributed to citizens, as well as a joint action to remove graffiti from the Chamber of Commerce building and the Jupiter building, which will be attended by representatives of the aforementioned organizations, as well as youth associations from Tuzla.

The goal of the campaign is to point out to young people that writing graffiti on buildings and other structures constitutes a criminal offense under the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina („Damage to Another's Property“), for which a prison sentence is also prescribed.
