
(Patria) - The remains of two victims of the past war were identified today at the Memorial Center in Tuzla. These are victims of Bosniak nationality who went missing in the Rogatica and Zvornik areas during 1992.
The identification was first carried out by DNA method, after which family members confirmed the identity of the victims and accepted the results of the DNA analysis, thus finally completing the identification process.
Family members identified Kulić Šaha, born in 1923 in the village of Jarovići, Goražde municipality. She was killed in the village of Pribošijevići in June 1992. Her remains were exhumed almost three decades later, in October 2021, at the Surevi – Pribošijevići site, Rogatica municipality.
Rahić Robert, born in 1974, residing in Zvornik, was also identified. He was killed in early April in the Zvornik area, and his remains were exhumed at the Kazanbašča site, Zvornik municipality, in July 2003.
