Session of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH underway, Rančić replaces Genjac

The session of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina has begun, where the appointment of the Chairman of the Council of Ministers, Denis Zvizdić, is to be confirmed, reports the Patria News Agency.

Yesterday, the Commission for the Preparation of the Election of the Council of Ministers gave a recommendation to confirm Zvizdić for the position of chairman. Fehim Škaljić (SBB) was against this decision, while Zaim Backović (SBiH) and Mirsad Mešić (SDP) abstained.

Hazim Rančić took the solemn oath for the parliamentary seat, replacing Halid Genjac, who was elected as a delegate to the House of Peoples.

Denis Zvizdić (SDA) will present his program and work plan to the representatives.

The SNSD representatives announced a boycott of this appointment, and as Zvizdić stated yesterday, they are the opposition, and if they do not wish to hear his program, they do not have to vote for him.

Also on the agenda is the Bill on Amendments to the Law on Salaries and Benefits in the Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the representatives will express their views on the abolition of the "white bread" (unearned salary after mandate ends).

Today, the continuation of the constitutive session of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH (interrupted on January 29, 2015) will also be held.
