Session of the Independent Board of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly underway: Perica Stanić and Đuro Knežević in attendance

The session of the Independent Board of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina is underway, and one of the agenda items is the attack on Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić in Potočari on July 11, 2015, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

Perica Stanić, director of SIPA, and his deputy Đuro Knežević also attended the session. Stanić stated that at this moment he cannot discuss the operational activities of this agency, but that they are doing everything in their power to increase security in the country, as well as to prosecute individuals known to have returned from foreign battlefields.

Stanić said that there are currently between 40 and 50 individuals who have returned from foreign battlefields, adding that there are entire families that the fighters took with them, but who are not subject to investigations because they were taken there and did not go voluntarily.

Stanić also stated that it has been determined that there are no BiH citizens among the attackers in Paris, nor did any of the attackers stay in BiH or have connections with any BiH citizens.
