Raids underway at the Government of Sarajevo Canton, ministries, Minister of Finance Afan Kalamujić also targeted

(Patria) - Due to suspicions of irregularities in the appointment of members of the Management Board of the Public Institution Employment Service of Sarajevo Canton, investigators from the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Interior are conducting searches at multiple locations today, acting on orders from the prosecuting attorneys.

The searches target the Minister of Finance in the Sarajevo Canton Government, Afan Kalamujić, the Ministry of Labor, Social Policy, Displaced Persons and Refugees, the Sarajevo Canton Government, and the Public Institution Employment Service of Sarajevo Canton.

These activities, along with those carried out in previous days, are being conducted as part of an operation codenamed "Envelope" with the aim of gathering additional evidence. So far, among other things, extensive documentation related to irregularities in the election and appointment of the dean of the Faculty of Economics and the dean of the Faculty of Dentistry has been seized, as well as phones that will be examined, the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office announced.
