A dam in eastern Macedonia has overflowed. An emergency evacuation of about 20 settlements along the Bregalnica river has been ordered, and a state of emergency has been declared in that part of the country, reports the Patria News Agency.
270 cubic meters of water per second are flowing from the dam.
The head of the state Crisis Headquarters, Mile Janakievski, emphasized that the relocation of livestock from farms located next to the river has also been ordered.
