SDP Program Convention Held in Teslić: The Law Must Apply Equally to Everyone in Every Part of BiH

At the SDP BiH Program Convention held in Teslić, it was emphasized that all citizens of BiH face the same problems and that a society of equal opportunity must be built throughout BiH, so that BiH truly becomes a country for all its citizens.

All insecurity and injustice in BiH are the result of the fact that for twenty years a private state has been created, not a state governed by the rule of law. We, in the SDP, want the law to apply equally to everyone in every part of BiH. We want to build a society of equal opportunity, so that BiH truly becomes a country for all its citizens, it was stated at the gathering.

„Citizens' trust in institutions that should guarantee security and justice for all has been completely undermined. The problems are the same in both entities and all citizens suffer equally. Returnees have additional problems throughout BiH and this must change. Returnees are the heroes of BiH. All insecurity and injustice are the result of the fact that for twenty years a private state has been created, not a state governed by the rule of law. We in the SDP want the law to apply equally to everyone in every part of BiH“, said Nermin Nikšić.

He noted that Plan 10 was conceived as a response to the problems and needs of citizens in all parts of BiH.

„Plan 10 also states that we will modernize or renovate at least 100 schools in BiH every year. This applies to the RS, the FBiH, and the Brčko District. To the whole of BiH. Schools are dilapidated and inadequate. We have every obligation to ensure equal opportunities in education for all our children. We want our children to attend modern and well-equipped schools, where they will learn how to think and how to be good, successful, and happy people“, Nikšić emphasized.

Enes Suljkanović, Vice President of SDP BiH, stated that the SDP is the only political force that gathers all people in BiH and puts the individual first.

„The SDP's Plan 10 also envisions drastic tax relief for employers and the economy as a whole. The surplus funds that remain with employers will enable them to invest more in business development, hiring new workers, and improving the position of existing workers. The SDP intends to achieve this also by passing a Law on Minimum Wage. People will again be able to live from their work“, said Suljkanović.

Vojin Mijatović, Vice President of the SDP Main Board, stated that every vote decides whether our children will grow up in our country or leave somewhere in search of a better future.

„Every vote brings change. Let us be the force that will create a country where life is good, a proud country, a country for all of us. Changes can and must happen. The SDP has never been stronger, and that is why we need to restore hope to citizens that things will be better and that only together can we create a society in which we will all be equal“, Mijatović emphasized.
