Closing arguments for Dodik and Lukić at BiH Court, extraordinary meeting and session of RS Government

(Patria) - The closing arguments in the case against RS President Milorad Dodik and acting director of the "Official Gazette of RS" Miloš Lukić are scheduled for today at the Court of BiH.

The last hearing in the case against Dodik and Lukić, who are charged with disrespecting the decisions of the High Representative in BiH Christian Schmidt, begins at 11:00 AM.

High officials of RS held a meeting on Monday evening, from which they announced that if a guilty verdict is delivered in this case, they will respond with radical measures.

The Government of RS also called on the National Assembly of RS to consider the possibility of permanent sessions so that it can "most effectively respond to potential upcoming harmful consequences for the institutions of RS, in connection with the trial of Dodik and Lukić".

A meeting with all mayors and municipal heads in RS is announced for this evening at 7:00 PM at the Government of RS, after which a Government session will be held.

The Government emphasizes that the session will be dedicated to analyzing the overall political and security situation and "the consequences that the proceedings against RS President Milorad Dodik and acting director of the "Official Gazette of RS" Miloš Lukić before the Court of BiH may have".

A large number of Dodik's supporters have arrived in front of the Court of BiH.
