
(Patria) - The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina will today pronounce the first-instance verdict in the criminal case against the accused Boro Ivanović, who is charged with committing the criminal offense of crimes against humanity under the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The accused Boro Ivanović is charged that from April to July 1992, during the armed conflict between the Army of Republika Srpska and the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the area of the municipality of Foča, as a member of the Army of RS, within a widespread and systematic attack directed against the non-Serb civilian population in the Foča area, knowing about this attack and aware that his actions were part of that attack, he repeatedly forced a female person into sexual intercourse (rape), according to a statement from the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
