Suspects in Black Tie Operation Brought to BiH Court, Separate Hearings for Detention and Prohibition Measures

(Patria) - 23 suspects in the "Black Tie 2" operation have been brought to the BiH Court for hearings regarding the proposal for detention and prohibition measures.

Detention has been proposed for 18 arrested individuals, and prohibition measures for five people.

Among the arrested are the acting director of the FUP, the head of the FUP Special Unit, former and current FUP employees, businessmen, and individuals linked to the drug cartel of Edin Gačanin Tito. Detention has been requested for these arrested individuals.

The operation was carried out on the order of the BiH Prosecutor's Office, which is conducting the investigation with the support of the FBI, DEA, and EUROPOL.

Given the large number of suspects, the hearing for detention at the BiH Court will last for hours and will be held after the hearing for the five suspects for whom prohibition measures have been requested.
