In case of Zubac's suspension, Đuro Knežević takes over SIPA

An indictment has been filed against Goran Zubac, director of the State Investigation and Protection Agency, and he is suspected of negligent work in service, writes the Patria news agency. Although for the Patria news agency Žiko Krunić, president of the Independent Board of the BiH Parliament, could not confirm what the next steps in this case are, it is certain that Zubac would have to be suspended while the trial process lasts, if the Court of BiH confirms the indictment.

His position could be taken by the recently appointed deputy director of the State Investigation and Protection Agency, Đuro Knežević.

Incidentally, Zubac's term in this position was due to expire in only two years, and the Prosecutor's Office of BiH launched an investigation because Zubac did not do everything in accordance with the law on February 7 when the building of the Presidency of BiH was set on fire. We recall that Zubac clashed with dissidents and Bosniaks in this institution, and during his work he vented his anger on Marko Dominković, Rašid Palić, Željka Kujundžija, Enes Karić, Vahid Alagić, and others.

All of them more or less eventually proved their innocence in legal proceedings, but it cost them health and money. As a consequence, which was also the goal, it created insecurity among all other Bosniaks and Croats in SIPA, destroyed their work morale, SIPA employees state for NAP.
