SIPA still searching for individuals who knew Pljevljak threatened Alomerović

An internal procedure and checks are still underway at the Agency for Investigations and Protection (SIPA) regarding who within SIPA knew that Rasim Pljevljak threatened the murdered Sadeta Alomerović, confirmed for the Patria news agency Kristina Jozić, a police officer of SIPA.

Namely, the tragedy in which Pljevljak, a member of SIPA, killed Sadeta Alomerović and seriously wounded her brother Samed, and then committed suicide, also opened up the story about how Sadeta had previously reported Pljevljak to SIPA and that someone in management knew that Pljevljak was harassing her and threatening her.

- The State Agency for Investigations and Protection has initiated an internal procedure to gather all facts related to the event in which Sadeta Alomerović from Sarajevo was fatally injured and her brother seriously wounded, followed by the suicide of police officer Rasim Pljevljak. Given that the internal procedure has not been concluded, in order to further the investigation, we cannot comment on the facts established so far at this moment – said Jozić.

Although the motives for this murder were never fully revealed, the family of the murdered Sadeta, as well as her friends, claim that it was not about a love affair but about money that Pljevljak allegedly owed Alomerović.
