969 vaccine doses administered at SCC today

(Patria) - Citizens in Sarajevo showed great interest in vaccination at Sarajevo City Center, organized by the Crisis Staff of the Ministry of Health of Sarajevo Canton.

Vaccination will also take place tomorrow, from 10 AM to 3 PM. A total of 969 doses were administered. Of these, the Pfizer vaccine was most administered as a third dose, with 815 people.

Citizens can generally receive their first, second, or third dose of vaccine of their choice at this vaccination point.

Given the increase in the number of new infections in Sarajevo Canton, and the fact that most citizens have passed six months since their second dose, the Ministry of Health of Sarajevo Canton has called on citizens to turn out in as large numbers as possible for booster vaccinations.

According to the recommendations of the Expert Advisory Body for Immunization of FBiH, booster doses can be administered to persons over 18 years of age at the earliest three months after receiving the second dose, if they have not had COVID-19.
