Heavy traffic in Sarajevo, fog reduces visibility

In higher areas, as well as in valleys and along river courses, fog and low clouds reduce visibility. Drivers are advised to drive with maximum caution, regardless of weather and traffic conditions, and to maintain a safe distance between vehicles, according to BIHAMK.

On the regional road R-467 Olovo-Ribnica (in Podkamensko), passenger vehicles and buses are allowed to pass, while traffic for trucks remains suspended. On the same section of the road in Čuništa, traffic is difficult due to a landslide.

- On sections where repair works are being carried out, it is mandatory to follow the posted traffic signs. We highlight the following routes: Odžak-Svilaj, Tuzla-Šićki Brod, Sarajevo-Trnovo, Bosansko Grahovo-Livno, and Čapljina-Ljubuški, says BIHAMK.

In Sarajevo, however, heavy traffic has been present since early morning due to the reconstruction of the Stupska petlja interchange. From Nedžarići to Ilidža, there is traffic chaos, with passengers taking up to an hour to get through. Police officers are trying to regulate traffic, and pedestrians are waiting more than 10 minutes to cross the street.
