Humanitarian campaign 'My Hair, Your Hair' successfully carried out in Sarajevo

(Patria) - The Association Heart for Children with Cancer announced that today in Sarajevo's Importanne Center, a large humanitarian hair donation campaign was successfully carried out as part of the project "My Hair, Your Hair".

As part of this noble initiative, more than 286 donors of all ages donated their hair to make wigs for children who have temporarily or permanently lost their hair during cancer treatment.

Every strand, every lock meant one step closer to restoring confidence and smiles to the faces of little ones who bravely fight the disease every day.

Special attention and inspiration for donors was provided by the presence of the project's ambassador Amra Džeko, who once again showed deep solidarity and commitment to this important cause.

- Being part of this project is a great honor, but also a responsibility. These children deserve to feel beautiful and dignified. Every donated hair is more than material. It is a message of love, hope and support.

Thank you to all the wonderful people who today gave a part of themselves for a small but strong heart - said Džeko.



The Association Heart for Children with Cancer extends great gratitude to the Importanne Center, which selflessly provided space and logistical support for the realization of the event, as well as to the Diplomatic Winter Bazaar, a long-time friend and donor of the "My Hair, Your Hair" project, whose support enables the continuity and expansion of humanitarian activities like this one.

This campaign once again showed how strong unity is when it comes to the most vulnerable members of our society.
