Festival 'Winter Magic at Skenderija' Officially Opened in Sarajevo

(Patria) - The Festival "Winter Magic at Skenderija" was officially opened tonight in the "Mirza Delibašić" hall of the Skenderija Center in Sarajevo.

The opening began at 5:30 PM, with the presence of numerous guests and visitors. The director of the Skenderija Center, Šenaj Avdić, and the Mayor of Sarajevo, Predrag Puharić, addressed the attendees.

The ceremonial ribbon-cutting was performed together with the Deputy Mayor, Mirza Selimbegović, officially opening this year's event.



"The presence of Mayor Puharić and Deputy Mayor Selimbegović further emphasized the importance of this event for Sarajevo and its citizens, and supported our mission to improve cultural and sports activities in the capital city.

We extend special thanks to the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports and the Ministry of Economy of Sarajevo Canton for their exceptional support.

We also thank all our partners and sponsors who enabled the realization of this project, as well as the media who have recognized 'Winter Magic' as one of the most interesting events in the region for five seasons," said the organizers.

The opening was further enhanced by the members of the Unity Skating Club, who arrived with children – young skaters, and brought a special charm to this festive event with their attractive performance.

A highlight of the evening was the opportunity for all visitors to enjoy free ice skating from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM, which made the evening even more magical.



"Winter Magic" is much more than an ice rink – it is a festival that brings joy, fun, and cultural richness.

The Skenderija Center invited all citizens, families, athletes, recreationalists, and tourists to join this unique festival and be a part of a magical winter story.
