Book 'Palestine I: Sadism' promoted in Sarajevo: No epic can describe the monstrosity and evil carried out by Zionists

(Patria) - A promotion of the book "Palestine I: Sadism", authored by academician, Prof. Dr. Sead Alić, was held today at the Student Center of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo.

The book brings a series of texts written immediately before and during the current events in Palestine, through which the author speaks openly and without restraint about the genocide of Palestinians, the role of global powers, and the collapse of Western values.

Instead of a classical scientific approach, Alić chooses an engaged and essayistic discourse in the book, calling on reasonable people of the world to awaken their conscience and act against injustice.

One of the promoters, academician Esad Duraković, stated that he is extremely grateful to the author Sead Alić for writing about Palestine.

- There today is the totality of evil, evil in its absolute totality. No epic has succeeded, nor will it succeed, in expressing all the reaches of monstrosity and evil that the Zionists are carrying out there today. It is absolutely inexpressible.

It is not just genocide there. There is also urbicide at the same time, because they are destroying hospitals, universities, schools, destroying everything living. They are fighting against God there today, because they are even destroying Palestinian olive groves.

Today, perfecting their crime, they are detonating Palestinian wells, fighting against water. They are scattering ground glass on certain soil. They are fighting against the land - Duraković said in his address.

Professor Halima Sofradžija emphasizes - even if no one reads it - this book had to be written.

- After the introduction and the first title, there is one short sentence that reads "21st century". This is actually like a call to bring us to awareness of which century we are living in, while we watch bloodshed live, watch butchered children's bodies in morgues.

From a certain point of that absurdity, when you watch it, it is as if the world has left reality. The intensity of the crime, what we see on screens, some incomprehensible destruction and callousness, the human eye cannot bear to see.

This book, of course, could not be written without emotion. Yesterday I had the opportunity to look at the book of the esteemed academician Duraković, which also speaks about Palestine. And somehow both were written almost at the same time about Palestine - added Sofradžija.

Israel is a Nazi country, an apartheid country - says the book's author Sead Alić.

- It is a state whose Zionism has displaced a huge number of Palestinians, which in its roots has the idea of ethnic cleansing of Palestine and Palestinians and which does not want a state where it will live together with Palestinians - Alić said, among other things.

Alić's book "Palestine I: Sadism" has already provoked strong reactions after its presentation was banned in Zagreb at the request of the Jewish Community of Croatia.

The author then emphasized that his work does not equate the Jewish people with Zionist policy, but critically analyzes systemic injustices against the Palestinian people.

The audience today had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with texts that explore the roots of human evil, point to the role of politics, economics, religion, and media in shaping contemporary stereotypes, and expose the abuse of the idea of the "chosen people" in justifying neocolonial and violent policies.

Sead Alić, a philosopher and writer originally from Bosnia and Herzegovina, has lived and worked in Zagreb for decades. He is the founder of the Cultural Center KCCK, editor of the scientific journal Inmediasres, and also edits collections on the philosophy of media (University North).

He is also a member of the editorial board of the journal CM (Belgrade, Novi Sad), and the journal of the Meshihat of the Islamic Community in Croatia - Minber, and the author of numerous projects in the fields of culture, philosophy, and media.
