Independence Day and Liberation Day of the State of Kuwait Marked in Sarajevo

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Embassy of Kuwait in Bosnia and Herzegovina hosted a reception in Sarajevo on Thursday evening on the occasion of the Independence Day and Liberation Day of the State of Kuwait.

Addressing numerous guests from political, social, and cultural life, as well as the diplomatic corps, Kuwaiti Ambassador to BiH Nasser Riden Al Motairi said that these two dates are very significant for them, adding that this is primarily thanks to the people who gave their lives for the State of Kuwait.

Al Motairi emphasized that Kuwait today plays a significant role in stabilizing the global economy, as well as in international issues such as the fight against terrorism and poverty, and in assisting other countries. The country is focused on democracy, freedom, women's rights, and the development of the state.

Ambassador Al Motairi said that relations between Kuwait and Bosnia and Herzegovina are developing in all fields, and that Kuwait wishes Bosnia and Herzegovina progress, prosperity, and much success on the path towards new reforms.
