Convention 'Bosnia is Ours - Bosnian' in Sarajevo - response to the collapse and threats to BiH's integrity

(Patria) - The Convention under the slogan "Bosnia is Ours - Bosnian" has begun in the crowded congress hall of the Sarajevo hotel "Holiday".

The gathering is organized by Krug 99 and the Association of Guardians of Bosnia, as a response to the activities undertaken by Serbia and the entity of Republika Srpska following the joint declaration of the "all-Serbian assembly".

The goal of the Convention is to express resistance to the further collapse of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina in a transparent and patriotic manner, but also to counter threats to its integrity and stability, its social and state being.

The Convention of non-governmental organizations, the academic community, political parties, and citizens should express the achieved state-building, general popular political unity on fundamental issues of the sovereignty of the Bosnian state in the given historical circumstances.

And especially in the context of the "Declaration of the all-Serbian assembly" and other doctrines of division and hegemony over Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Convention will define rational responses to the challenges and dangers facing both the state and society, as well as directions for unified responses and actions by state-building political actors and citizens.

The Convention "Bosnia is Ours - Bosnian" will be marked by determination, clear visions, and political commitments to both domestic and international public, as well as to internal political and external political actors.

Following the Sarajevo Convention, gatherings will be held in a number of cities and municipalities in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

A total of ten speakers are scheduled to address the gathering this evening:

- Adil Kulenović, President of Krug 99;

- Academician Esad Duraković;

- Academician Enver Halilović;

- Academician Senadin Lavić;

- Jahja Muhasilović, Professor at IUS and one of the founders of Guardians of Bosnia;

- Miro Lazović, President of the Assembly of RBiH, member of the wartime Presidency of BiH, and member of DF;

- Enver Išerić, member of NES and President of Guardians of Bosnia;

- Almir Bečarević, President of the Cantonal Board of the Party for BiH Sarajevo;

- Haris Zahiragić, Member of the KS Assembly and Vice-President of SDA; and

- Milan Dunović, Member of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly and Vice-President of DF.
